Top Corporates from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Attend 9th Middle East Investor Relations Association Annual Conference in the United Arab Emirates

25 September, 2017. The Middle East Investor Relations Association ‘MEIRA’, the region’s leading organisation for the development of international standards in Investor Relations (IR), and its Saudi Chapter, welcomed IR professionals representing top listed companies from across the Kingdom at its 9th Annual Conference and Awards, hosted in Dubai.

Najla Alajmi, Head Corporate Governance Standards Unit, of the Saudi Capital Market Authority (CMA), commented:

“We are very pleased to support and encourage the development of IR best practice in the Kingdom. A number of Tadawul-listed companies have taken the initiative to ‘lead the way’, and should be proud of their achievements. The Annual Conference offers Investor Relations practitioners in the Middle East a unique opportunity to share best practice and expertise in their profession, complimented by an Awards ceremony recognizing industry achievements in IR from across the region.

The attendees included representatives of Saudi Arabia’s Capital Market Authority,  the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), Ma’aden, Almarai, Sipchem, Zain KSA, Mobily, MEPCO and Saudi Airlines Catering. Saudi award winners for their work in IR, Digital IR and Annual Reports included Almarai for Best Corporate for Investor Relations in Saudi Arabia and for the third position in the Best Annual Report category, Rayan AlKarawi, from Zain KSA, for Best Investor Relations Professional in Saudi Arabia and Ma’aden for the third position in Best IR Website category.
