About the trainer

Bio:
Mike Tyrrell has been an SRI analyst for the past 20 years - on the 'buy-side' at Jupiter Asset Management, then on the 'sell-side' at HSBC Global Equities where he established the first SRI research on the ‘sell-side’ and then at Citi Investment Research. Mike is a strong believer in rigorous sustainability analysis conducted by intelligent individuals embedded within ‘mainstream’ investment institutions and in active and constructive dialogue between investors, companies and independent experts.  When executed effectively these lead to better investment outcomes and a more sustainable society. Mike is the Editor of SRI-CONNECT which is an online platform that facilitates the flow of research and discussion between analysts and enables efficient communications between investors and companies on sustainability themes. For Mike, SRI-CONNECT is an opportunity to use the emerging capabilities of social media to empower these analysts, investors, CSR managers and IR directors such that, by improving the efficiency of communications between them, sustainability analysis can be embedded as a core component of investment research and capital allocation.
