Seminar – Investor Relations: the sell-side view
Building on a successful launch workshop in April 2017, Boursa Kuwait and MEIRA on 22 November hosted the second in a series of IR workshops for listed companies and brokerage firms in the Boursa Kuwait premises. Introduced by Mr. Ahmed Kiswani, Risk, Compliance & Corporate Governance Executive Director at Boursa Kuwait, the workshop on the theme of ‘Investor Relations: The Sell-Side View’, focused on introducing the analyst’s perspective and helping further raise awareness and knowledge of the role of IR in Kuwait.
Alex MacDonald-Vitale, MEIRA Chairman, added keynote session on the evolving role of IR as a strategic management function followed by a presentation from Ahmad Shamseldin, Head of Research at EFG Hermes, who shared his views on how to engage with the sell-side during an interview conducted by Amir Hanna, Assistant General Manager – Investors Relations at National Bank of Kuwait.
