Hesham Kalla
July 19, 2024Hesham joined Doha Bank (DHBK) in 2005 and is currently the Head of Investor Relations. In January 2020, he was appointed Head of Investor Relations. In his current position, he covers all aspects of investor relations management, development, coordination, and execution of related matters with the investment community, including but not limited to, investors, analysts, rating agencies, etc. Additionally, he aims to bolster investor confidence, by ensuring an accurate understanding of the company’s strategy, financial performance and current positioning is understood by all those that enquire about the investment proposition the Bank offers. He held the position as Head of Equities (Treasury & Investment Group) at Doha Bank from 2005 until 2019. Hesham worked as an international equity broker/ dealer for Commercial Bank of Qatar from 1996 to 2003 before joining Doha Bank.
Hesham graduated from University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY., and holds the International Certificate in Investor Relations, as issued by the UK IR Society.
