- Winners to be announced during the fifth Annual IR Conference and Awards Ceremony on the 14th November in Dubai
The Middle East Investor Relations Society (ME-IR Society) today announced the nominees for the 2013 Annual IR Awards.
The awards, which are based on a survey carried out by Thomson Reuters Extel, have been in existence since 2008 and aim to recognise the region's best performers in the field of investor relations, as voted by investors and sell-side analysts. The 2013 winners will be presented at the ME-IR Society's Annual IR Conference and Awards Ceremony which will take place in the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dubai on November 14th.
Paul Reynolds, Chairman of ME-IR Society and Managing Director of Rothschild in the Middle East, commented: "The Annual IR Conference and Awards Ceremony is the Society's flagship event and the only IR focused conference taking place in the region. We are proud that it has developed so materially in headcount, geographic diversity and content over the past five years, and delighted to once again provide a forum for discussion on IR as well as an opportunity to recognize and award the regional leaders within this field.
We very much look forward to another great day of learning and networking, and to reviewing the Conference's collective guidance for the direction of the Society in 2014 and beyond."
The ME-IR Society will also present an internal award titled ‘Outstanding Contribution to IR 2013'. Candidates for this award can be nominated and the Society Board will be responsible for announcing the winner. Winners of the 2013 Webranking Awards will also be announced at the ceremony by KW Digital.
The ME-IR Society Annual IR Conference and Awards Ceremony 2013 is free to attend and sponsored by HSBC, National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Bank of New York, Thomson Reuters, Drake and Scull, First Gulf Bank, Emirates NBD, Etisalat, Bank Audi, IPREO, Latham and Watkins, KW Digital, Deutsche Bank, Citi Bank and RR Donnelly.
