Dubai, 24 August 2015 – The Middle East Investor Relations Society (MEIRS) has appointed Investis, an international digital communications and investor relations (IR) company, as its corporate website partner for 2015. As an Advisor member of the Society, partnership with Investis will add further support for our members in the region, and expert reference to best practice in corporate and IR communications across digital platforms.
Incorporated in 2008, MEIRS aims to provide a platform for IR professionals and listed companies across the MENA region to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and network. The independent, not-for-profit society aims to enhance the reputation of the Middle East’s capital markets through upholding international best practice across the investor relations profession.
Digital communications are now a critical part of a listed company’s strategy in communicating with investors and a range of stakeholders. When it comes to the IR website, this is now a first point of reference for investors. The Middle East is increasingly integrated in global emerging markets and for listed entities operating in the region a strong digital presence and strategy is an important tool f or attracting attention from the international and regional investor community.
